Gulf Coast Classic Hunter Jumper Show

Back from a successful weekend at the Gulf Coast Classic Hunter Jumper Show in Pensacola, FL. Team Wallace South traveled to the show with TWS students: Parker Miller, Briggs Surratt and Taylor Nicole Dileo.

Parker rode her new mount, Jos Baco in the 1.0 Meter Children’s Jumper and the 3 ft Equitation Classes and was very successful in her first show with Baco. Of course, Baco demonstrated his cool demeanor and confirmed for Marcie T. Miller and Peter Miller that the purchase of Baco was a big win.

Parker also competed her fabulous pony, Bibbity Bobbity Boo in the green medium ponies and placed very well. Boo is for sale and will make an incredible hunter pony. Let me know if someone is interested in this awesome boy.

Briggs rode his new horse Hat Trick in the 1.10 Children’s Jumpers and USEF and ASPCA Medal classes. They finished 4th in the ASPCA and 3rd in the 1.10 Children’s jumper power and speed with an incredible 18 jumping efforts in the covered ring. Hat Trick jumped brilliantly and Briggs has defiantly developed some great riding skills.

Taylor showed Rebel in the 1.0 Children’s jumpers and the 3 Ft. Equitation (Taylor Harris). She placed 2nd in the equitation class and had good ribbons in the jumpers.

Lastly, Cody – Ultimate Victory, jumped around the 1.20 Meter Open Jumpers with a clear round and placed 2nd. He was super and I am excited about 2013.

Congrats to the parents – Andy Surratt, Theresa Marie Bender, Patricia Dileo and Marcie and Pete Miller for having great children athletes.
